World Best Steak Restaurant
On November 5, 6 and 7, The Rare Tour, which brings together two of the hundred best meat restaurants in the world, arrives in Florence.
On this occasion, Regina Bistecca, number 19 in the prestigious World Best Steak Restaurant ranking, hosts in its historic premises in via Ricasoli 14r, the renowned Amaren restaurant from Bilbao, number 16, and already “Campeon National de Parrilla” in Spain in 2019.
The three exclusive and unique evenings will see the two chefs, Vincenzo Dilorenzo from the Florentine restaurant and Aitor Del Olmo for the Basque restaurant, work together to share the kitchen and serve a meat-based menu where the tradition of the Florentine grill will dialogue with the Basque gastronomic culture.
On the main stage, the Florentine Chianina steak from the San Giobbe Farm will dialogue with a Basque “chuleta” from the Amaren farm itself, matured for over 90 days, both cooked on burning vegetable coals.
Tuscan wines and Basque wines will accompany the meats from the two origins where meat plays a predominant role in their respective gastronomic cultures.
The prestigious ranking has received wide coverage in the international and national press as number 6 in the ranking is an Italian restaurant, I Due Cippi from Saturnia (GR) while second in Italy is Regina Bistecca. The ranking also includes 5 other Italian restaurants from Osio Sotto (BG), Turin, Florence again and two from Milan.
